a British Bash - Jubilee Style.

After a busy day in France on Monday, we decided to stay in and have a party for the jubilee. I would say, it was a relaxing day, but it wasn't. We slaved away for 4 hours!! preparing food and baking cakes whilst my Father, Grandad and Brother watched TV. Although tired, we managed to enjoy the beautiful buffet we laid on and downed a few glasses of Pimms to keep us awake. Between kitchen and decorating duties, I enjoyed taking a few pictures so I could share with you guys! Honestly, I swear becoming a blogger changes the way you look at the world and everything thing you do in it. For example, do you find yourself thinking, 'ooh I must take a picture of that to share with my readers!' or how about 'Forget Dinner I need picture of this outfit before it gets too dark!'. Well, me too!

Cannot wait to hear what you think of the pictures and find out what you all got up to on the jubilee!? or if you even celebrated it?

Love the pictures and I carry a camera just about everywhere now. I love your brother's striped shirt--perfect for the occasion! I didn't celebrate and spent most of the day trying to get info about it. Wish I could've been there.

I so love your photos of the event. I wondered if you celebrated or not. Wow, 4 hours of cooking!

I find myself wanting to take a picture everytime I go out to dinner..now. Of course, I'm no expert.

Love these!

P.S..thanks so much for your feed back on the Josie storyline, too. I guess I decided to make it this way since I was reading up on some of the laws in our state, how you don't have that many rights as a teen in our state as a parent. Although, I know plenty of teen parents who have a lot of their parents' help.

What a wonderful post! I'm so glad you posted about the Jubilee festives. I was wondering what some of the goodies might be to make.

Revenge is definitely my guilty pleasure this year!
