Life's a daisy

Okay, so it's been a while since I last posted. With college exams and no computer, blogging has been pretty difficult but I am now back and have the summer at my fingertips, so no more excuses.

A week ago, amazingly, the sun came out and the weather was beautiful. The sun was shinning through the leaves on our oak tree, the washing was on the line and the drinks were flowing. Naturally I put on one of my favourite summer dresses. A dress I have actually already posted on here but teamed with a different look. A floral dress, white cardigan, dangley earrings and my hair in a messy side bun and french plait. I was also wearing my favourite perfume 'Daisy' by Marc Jacobs.

However, as you may have noticed, I stupidly didn't get a picture of my full outfit. I thought about re-creating the look but it didn't feel quite right. Anyway, this post was less about my outfit and more about my beautiful perfume 'Daisy' by Marc Jacobs. After receiving it for my 18th birthday, it has now taken over 'Fantasy' by Britney Spears and become the perfume that people recognise me by. It has an intense floral smell, but not over powering, its sweet but not in a cheap perfume kind of way. I will wear it throughout the seasons, however strangely this year I am having two Springs, one summer and a winter. Excitingly, I booked my flight to Sydney Australia! I head out in September for 2-3 months travelling!

I'd love to know what your favourite perfume is, or the perfume you are dying to buy??? Let me know by leaving me a comment!!

I actually really want to try Daisy - I currently mostly wear Angel by Thierry Mugler but I want something lighter and more floral for summer.

You should! It is so refreshing and isn't one of those perfumes you have to keep spraying - it last throughout the day...biggest problem is that it's expensive but I can't imagine too different to Angel? <3

It's okay you didn't get an outfit post and I love how you focussed on the "Daisy" :) That perfume smells so good, my best friend loves it. The daisy in your hair looks really cute too, nice look for summer.

Woah, you are coming to Sydney! By then, the weather should be a bit warmer, I hope you will enjoy your time here.

I love Chloe, Miss Dior Cherie and Coco Mademoiselle, they smell fantastic. :)

Your hair looks so pretty! Haha I have totally done the same before- forgotten to actually take a picture of my outfit. Or sometimes I am out and about and it doesn't feel right to take a photo of myself ha! I have never tried this perfume but I definitely will go and smell it. I do need some new perfume. For the last few years I have kind of got stuck wearing the Body Shop vanilla...I'm pretty sure I used to wear real perfume before this but I just really like the vanilla smell!. I will check out Daisy though. Thanks! Oh and how exciting about going to Sydney. You will have to make sure you post loads of pictures for us poor things stuck in dreary UK! xx
