The car park at the reception venue.
On Saturday my family and I went to a wedding in Herstmonceux ( read as, Hersmonzoo),  where my sister was a bridesmaid for her best friends wedding. Above are a variety of photos from the day but most are of my outfit! If you read my blog regularly, you will know that I have been desperate to go to a wedding. I wanted to get the chance to pick an outfit but also experience a wedding as an adult. The last one I attended was probably eight years ago (so I was twelve) and a bridesmaid. Needless to say, this wedding only made me want to get married more and forget wanting to choose a wedding outfit, I'm now craving a wedding dress.

Please let me know your thoughts on my pictures, my outfit and also if you have any weddings to attend and if so, what are you planning to wear?

Happy Summer :)

The pictures above are ones I took on my phone while I was out shopping in London yesterday (hence the terrible quality). We caught the tube to Marble Arch and made our way down towards Oxford Circus and Regent Street and spent the whole day shopping and stopping for, much deserved, coffee breaks!

The photos below are of the things I bought that I thought I'd share with you...

Necklace - Newlook £7.99
Bobbi Brown brush and eye liner - Selfridges - Brush  - £22, Eye Liner - £17.50
Liquid Eyeliner - Steel Ink 31
Nail Varnish - Topshop- £5
Bag full of underwear - Marks - £10
Denim skater skirt - Newlook - £14.99
So my sister got back from Australia two weeks ago. It's been really nice just going shopping, out for meals and just generally hanging out with her again. She was also kind enough to buy me the Bobbi Brown eye liner and brush, as a very early Christmas present, which I picked out, and had put on me by a make up artist, in Selfridges. I was nearly as happy with the iconic yellow Selfridges bag as I was with the beautiful make up! I had such a great day in London yesterday although the shops didn't blow me away and I would have liked to have bought more (seen as though most of these places were the UK flagship stores, they should've been a lot better). Besides a few hiccups, the company was great and I love love love the things I bought/ was given!

What do you think of my shopping?
Where's your favourite place to shop in London?

Also, I have recently been featured on A Place on the Bookshelf if you want to check out the interview. The girl behind the blog, Charl, will be featured in a guest post on my blog later this week so keep an eye out!

The Beauty Test: Seaweed Range (day 9-23)

I should start by saying, I've had no internet for the last week hence why posts have been a little, or a lot, scarce in the last week or so. It's been so frustrating because I've been dying to update you all on my beauty test as well as show you a few things I've bought in the last couple of weeks. Here is a catch up though from day 9 to day 23 so all that other stuff will have to wait for a later date.

Catch up with previous posts:

This is the second to last post of the beauty test where I am reviewing how The Body Shop's Seaweed Skincare range is working for my skin. In the last 23 days I have been surprised at how much I've enjoyed doing my skin everyday but also how many positive changes I have noticed in it. My skin is now...

Clearer
I've never suffered too badly when it comes to breakouts and acne and somehow managed to make my way through adolescence with only the occasional nasty spot. Saying this, although in the last few years my skin has been clear-ish, it's usually been tainted by a few blemishes. Since starting this beauty test 23 days ago, my skin is the clearest I have seen it in a long time. The little blemish of spots on my chin has vanished and my skin is noticeably clearer (yay).

Softer
Before starting this test, I would have always described my skin as combination skin, meaning some areas are dry, some oily and some normal, but this skincare range has definitely eliminated the dry areas I used to have under my eyes and across patches of my face. My skin is visibly and physically softer.

Less oily but still not perfect
I started this test because I wanted my skin to become less oily and it has definitely helped. I do find that my t-zone is prone to go a little shiny after a long day out in the sun but I have big pores so this is going to happen. I definitely feel that my t-zone is improving and I'm hoping that adding in the occasional exfoliating session, my skin will become even less oily.

More healthy
I've always been quite lucky with my skin but I can see such a change in it over the last three weeks. It has a nice healthy glow now and feels and looks so much more refreshed. What do you think?

I'm not sure you can see such a difference in the picture above except for the fact that the sun has brought all my freckles out! I will also add that throughout all the pictures I have posted for this test, I have absolutely no make up on my face (apart from a little lip balm).

Let me know your thoughts and if you've had a positive or negative experience with these skincare products?
