My Peter Pan Collar dress!

These photos was taken this Easter on my Holiday in the French Alps. It was supposed to be cold, snowy and time to Ski but we'd been having such a heatwave that I decided to take a risk and pack spring clothes...my risk (thankfully) paid off. This was taken around 10am and already the weather was hitting 28 degrees!!! Pretty hot for France in April.

Here I am wearing my Peter Pan Leopard print collar dress from Newlook. With it, I wore black full length leggings from Next (after all it wasnt Summer), Gold Aviators from Newlook, gold bangles I was given last Christmas (Thank-you Tom!) and gold studded sandles from Primark for £1.50. Sadly you cannot really see my shoes or my bangles.

I have no idea why I have no shoes on in this picture, nor why it is so shadowy or high contrasted. But it's a full body shot and it has taken me a lot to post it!

(AAhhh you can see all my freckles!) Thought I would post an upclose picture so you can get a good look at my beautiful Sunnies and also my fringe that I have been sporting for slightly too long. This is, scarily, my second outfit post. I was told it gets easier and to be fair it has. I am just trying to make my blog slightly more personal and keep up to date with posting! Ive been pretty good this month but before May, I hadn't posted since January.

Let me know what you think of my outfit or if you have any great ideas to improve my blog I would really love to hear from you all!

Thank-you for reading.

Smokey Eye Make-up Tutorial!!

Benefits Sexy Eye & Brow Makeover Kit - £28.50 (a lot I know, but I believe completely worth it!)

I have finally done my first Make-up tutorial!!! It was pretty scary! and watching it back I look like such a prat - I am putting this down to nerves!! and that I wanted it to be natural and not too perfect! I'm not sure how good it is, so that is up to you all to decide??
I'm afraid I pull some dreadful faces, go cross eyed and forget the brands I am using...also in advance want to apologise for the time I spent on my mascara. I hope you all enjoy it or have some contructive criticism to give me.

P.s You may or may not have noticed my Blogs name has now firmly changed to 'Hailes Hearts Fashion'. It used to be called 'The Heart Of Fashion' but after some research I realised I shared my name with too many fashion blogs so made a risky decision to change to my username.

"I was a Hippie!!"

So it's finally happened. Nearly all my friends have turned 18 (mine was in March). I thought I would put some pictures of the outfit I wore to my best friend, Sammi's 18th :) The theme was 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's...naturally with all the 70's fashion around I went for a boho Hippie look. I wore a floral maxi dress from H&M, a plaited head band from H&M, a baggy knitted cardi that belongs to my Mum, an Anklet from Accessorize (that jingled!) and a peace - make love and not war- wooden heart necklace. I tried to keep my make-up natural applying some earthy coloured eye shadow, a light coating of mascara and a peachy tinted lip balm. I also kept my hair natural by scrunching in a handful of VO5 moose after having it in plaits all day (and crimping it slightly).

Let me know what you think of my outfit, even if you hate it!
Don't be too mean though, this is my FIRST ever outfit post!!

P.s This is my first blog post since January! I hope the fact that I having finally decided to post outfits makes up for my lack of dedication lately!
